I had the honor and privilege to present Dr. Gayle Goodin with the Griffin Area Arts Alliance Arts Achievement Award. It was a small token of appreciation to a man who invested decades in building people in this community.  Dr. Goodin passed away on August 31st. His legacy, together with that of his lovely wife Nora, is generational in its reach. Many of my personal friends have only good things to say regarding his positive influence on their lives. The loss to our community is profound and he will be missed.
